1966 BG-15 The Turtles Fillmore RP-2 Poster CGC 9.6
This Wes Wilson poster for an early Fillmore concert by the Turtles is a true sleeper. The central image of jamming turtles was created by German illustrator and cartoonist Heinrich Kley. This image was also the inspiration for the Grateful Dead Album Terrapin Station.
This second printing poster was released shortly after the show, but still 50+ years ago, and represents a great way to acquire this fantastic work of art at a more affordable price than the first printing pre-concert posters can command.
